Nursery Admissions

Key information, criteria, and process for enrolling your child at Foundation World School (Humhama & Mamath).

Admission Criteria and process for Nursery

1. Timeline

Admission process to Nursery is completed before the start of the new session, preferably before 15th October, Year of admission.

2. Age Criteria

The child should be more than 3 years old but less than 4 years old on 31st of October, year of admission.

3. Admission Process

First preference is given to siblings of existing students and Staff members and only if there are any vacancies, those will be made available for students living in the vicinity.

Mandatory Documents

  • Birth Certificate: Issued by the Registrar of Births and Deaths, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, or any other competent authority.
  • Child’s Aadhaar Card: Required for verification (FRONT & BACK).
  • Photographs: Clear passport-size photograph of the child (white background) & passport-size photograph of mother/father/guardian.
  • Parental Identification Proof: Aadhaar Card of both parents (FRONT & BACK).
  • Residential Proof: Any one of the following: Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or Passport.
  • Child’s Immunization Card: Ensure it is up-to-date.
  • Mother’s Discharge Certificate: Issued by the hospital where the child was born.
  • Child’s Medical Fitness Certificate: Must include the license or registration number of the certifying doctor.

  • Legal Dispute Documentation: (If applicable) Relevant court documents or orders if there is an ongoing legal matter.
  • Single Parent Documentation: (If applicable) Proof that one parent is no longer alive, or there has been an irrevocable separation with no second marriage. An affidavit is required.
  • Affidavit for School Admission: (To be printed on non-judicial stamp paper and attested by a 1st class Magistrate).
