Do we have international teachers?

We have local teachers, trained to international standards. Our teachers have understood the fundamentals of “Educating for Life”. A complete team holding Masters and Bachelors in Education besides being qualified in a variety of subjects including Psychology, Sciences and Speech Therapy, to which we have added the best of Cambridge Training as well as International training on child psychology and pedagogy.

What are the eligibility criterion for admission in our school?

Eligibility Criteria
Student must have completed the previous grade from a recognized school and/or meet the required minimum age for the Kindergarten.(e.g. Nursery = Age 3, LKG = Age 4 and UKG = Age 5).

What is IGCSE qualification?

Till which grade is our school?

FWS is a higher secondary school. Currently we are operational till grade 8th .

What second languages are offered at our school?

Along with English, our students learn Urdu and Arabic as second languages.

Do we have facilities for students with different learning abilities?

At this point of time, FWS does not provide special need coaching for students with different learning abilities.

Is IGCSE qualification recognized?

International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) The IGCSE program has worldwide status and credibility. In India, the course is delivered in over 200 schools. It is recognized by the State Board and Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as being at par with CBSE, ICSE, etc.

Can my child join in the middle of the academic year?

Joining in the middle of academic year
We encourage the new ward to join at the beginning of an academic year to be able to be in sync with other wards and the curriculum. However for some reason the student has to join in mid session, a basic academic assessment is done before the ward is admitted to the school.

Does school provide meals?

FWS provides healthy morning and afternoon snacks for kindergarteners. However Lunch is to be brought along by the child.
For children from Grade 1 onwards, healthy snacks and lunch both are to be brought along by the child.
FWS has a strict No Junk Food Policy.

Do we have bus facilities for distance beyond the bus routes?

The school operates 39 comfortable buses on 39 different routes. 22 buses operate for KG campus- Humhama as listed in the Attachment and 17 buses operate for Main campus- Mamath, Budgam . The details of bus routes, pick-up and drop-off points, time schedules, and bus charges will be provided by the school at the time of admission of students. The school bus is provided with a female attendant, seat belt and a GPS tracker.

Does our school have Co-education?

Kindergarten Wing is coeducation.
From Grade 3rd Boys and Girls will have separate classes.

Uniform

The School prescribes uniforms for all its students. The details of the uniform and the system for their procurement will be provided upon admission to the School.

Bus Service

The school operates separate buses for KG and Main campus on different routes mainly on main roads. The latest details of the existing bus routes, bus charges, pickup and drop off bus stops will be provided by the school transport department on request at the time of admission. The school buses are provisioned with a bus attendant and a GPS tracker.
