The Mysterious World

It pulled me into it! The thing I saw was truly fascinating—pink trees with blue trunks. The most amazing part was that they had faces!

I turned back and saw a weird-looking man. He had more hair on his head, and he was walking on his hands.
“This world is truly the opposite of ours!” I screamed!
“ErA uoy kcuts? DiD uoy emoc morf etisoppo dlrow?” he asked.
‘What?’ I said.
‘Tahw,’ he said.
‘What?’ I said.
‘Taahw,’ he said.

Wait! I thought this was an opposite world, so they just speak the same but opposite. Tahw means what?
‘I saw that there is no way to get out.’
‘Pleh,’ I begged.
‘Era uoy morf eht etisoppo dlrow,’ he said.

I took some time to understand what he said, and then I said, ‘Sey, pleh em ot teg tuo.’
‘siht si a pam. Ti swohs eht yaw ot teg kcab,’ he declared and ran away.

He gave me a piece of parchment. I opened it. It was a map. It showed that I had to cross mountains, rivers, and forests to get back home. I was ready to go.

First, I had to cross a deserted area. “Let’s go.”
(I am already in a deserted area that looks the same.)

First, we look at the sunset from the northwest and the sunset from the east here [opposite].
So I have to go northwest.

It was exhausting. I had walked about 10 miles, but the map showed 1 mile [opposite]. It was midnight after all that, and I crossed the desert. I was very tired and sleepy, so I decided to stop and take a nap.
