Transport Services

  •  For Main Stop pickup and Drop. Main Stop is considered to be the nearest stop for the parent where Public Transport plies. Any deviation from this has to be agreed and signed by the Transport In charge for an agreed spot to be considered as a Main Bus Stop.
  • For Lane Pickups/drops, subject to feasibility, additional charges will be applicable.
  • Transport Facility will be provided subject to availability of bus seats on the required route.
  • In case of discontinuation of school transport the current month’s fee should be paid in full and the transport facility cannot be restarted before a period of 6 months has passed from the date of discontinuation of earlier provided service.
  • All students using the school bus are expected to be at the bus stop at least 5 minutes before the arrival time of the bus. The bus will not wait at the stop beyond the communicated pickup time. The same will be applicable for the drop and the parent should be present at the stop for handover of the child as per the arrangements made.
  • If a student misses his allotted bus he should not try to board any other bus. It is the responsibility of the parents to drop off their wards to the school. However the student will return by the allotted bus, once the parent has notified the transport office on arrival at school.
  • Parents are requested not to pressurise / harass the staff on the bus, for creation of any new stop or for changing the route. The bus staff is not authorised to make any route changes and might get terminated from service if they are found in breach of this rule.
  • Parents are requested not to board school buses to see off or receive their ward(s). If there is any problem, a written communication should be forwarded to the Transport In charge.
  • School Application software can be used to convey any issues / problems / complaints in relation to the Transport Facility being offered.
  • If any parent whose child is availing school Transport Service wishes to take her / his ward privately in her / his own transport, she / he has to collect the Permission Slip from the school authorities half an hour before the scheduled school closure time for students.
  • The bus fee is liable to change in case of any major changes in the Fuel / Government Fee, etc effecting the feasibility of running School Transport Service. This will be done one month in advance of the actual implementation to provide enough time for any alternate arrangements to be made by those parents who wish to withdraw from availed School Transport Service.
  • Change in location

    For advance notifications.

    • In case a parent has a request for change in location, they need to inform school authorities at least 7 working days in advance in writing through the parent care module on school application by selecting the transport department of the respective campus.( No verbal requests, No What’s app or SMS will be entertained).
    • In case they approach the school front office, front office executive has to inform the parent to write via the school application to the respective campus transport department.

    For change in drop location for a particular day.

    • In case a parent requests for change in drop location for the current day, it should be informed to transport department/school parent care numbers before 12:00 noon. (Confirmation to be given to the parent by the transport  In-charge only and is subject to availability of seat in the alternate route vehicle).

    For change in Pick up Location.

    • No change in pick up location will be entertained for one day and parent will have to manage drop their child themselves to school for that particular day.
